Liquid Tungsten enhances Techenomics total fluid management

Unique product forms a protective layer between metal surfaces
Lubricants play a vital role in maintaining the health of engines and mechanical equipment and as a lubricant health practitioner, Techenomics advocates the use of Liquid Tungsten to enhance performance.

Techenomics, Your Partner in Lubrication Reliability, says when Liquid Tungsten is added to oil or grease the lubricants work more effectively and last longer.

“This unique product, which is distributed by Techenomics, adds value to our total fluid management services to the mining, oil & gas, marine, rail, transport and power generation industries ,” said the company’s  CEO Chris Adsett.

“Developed and produced by Powderful Solutions, it is the only product of its kind that uses tungsten, a high-performance metal that exceeds the capabilities of other metals such as molybdenum, including in temperature resistance and hardness.”

The inorganic fullerene-like tungsten disulphide nanoparticles are spherical in nature and act like ball bearings between metal surfaces.

By forming a protective micro-layer on metal surfaces, the Liquid Tungsten prevents metal surfaces from coming into contact.

This reduces friction and lowers operating temperatures, ensuring lubricants work more effectively for longer.

“In this way,” Adsett said, “the product is cost-effective and gives our customers better bang for their lubricant spend.”

Liquid Tungsten also results in improved fuel consumption, less engine wear, reduced maintenance and, due to more efficient running, emissions are suppressed.

To back up claims that Liquid Tungsten saves energy, increases oil life, lower fuel consumption and reduce component wear, Techenomics has conducted independent tests, trials and case studies on a global scale and in many different applications, including mining, transport and industry.

“These tests in the lab and in the field have consistently backed up the research and testing undertaken by NIS,” Adsett said, “making the product an absolute no-brainer.”

As well as distributing Liquid Tungsten throughout its global network, Techenomics is also exclusive distributor to the mining industry.
