Techenomics’ new Gunnedah facility to be officially opened on July 28
The opening by Mayor Jamie Chaffey will coincide with an information and networking session.
The North & West New South Wales region’s lubricant analysis needs are now being serviced by global total fluid management provider Techenomics International with the company’s laboratory and associated facilities in Gunnedah to be officially opened later this month.
The opening by Gunnedah Shire Council Mayor Jamie Chaffey will be held in conjunction with an information night and networking session at Gunnedah Rugby Club, Wandobah Road, on Thursday, July 28, from 5.30pm.
Along with the Mayor, other local politicians and community dignitaries will be in attendance along with Techenomics CEO Chris Adsett and local company representatives.
While Techenomics’ condition monitoring services and products are aimed at the region’s burgeoning mining industry and the long-established broadacre farming sector, lubricant analysis is just as relevant in any operation where lubricants are used to aid mechanical operations.
These services are used to determine the well-being of lubricants based on physical and chemical properties. The presence of deleterious elements in oil and lubricants can serious affect an engine’s performance and reliability, thereby impacting productivity.
“Techenomics Gunnedah has the ability to analyse lubricants and provide operators with in-depth information on the lubricant condition along with the effectiveness of mechanical components,” Chris Adsett said.
“Oil Analysis is used as a preventative maintenance tool and can reduce unnecessary downtime and component failures.
“As such, we are delighted to bring our services and products to Gunnedah to play a role in optimising the performance of lubricants and supporting the North & West region’s economy.
“Oil and lubricant analysis are used effectively to diagnose issues with engines and other mechanical equipment while our unique Liquid Tungsten product makes oil and lubricants perform better for longer,” he said.
During the July 28 event Techenomics will provide an introductory outline of the company and in-depth information on condition monitoring.
The information session will also cover:
- Presentation on oil analysis;
- Live demonstration of Blue Oceans software;
- Presentation on Liquid Tungsten and its abilities; and
- Live demonstration on Ruler Testing with laboratory personnel to carry out live testing.
As well as the opening and information sessions, Adsett said an important component of the event would be networking with the opportunity to catch up with existing and potential company clients along with other businesses in the North West region.
There will also be drinks and nibbles provided during the event.
