Extension of ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

Extension of ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

In July, 2020 Techenomics in Mongolia received an extension of its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for its laboratory services by the MASM - Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology for the 3rd time. We have extended our ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation Certificate for 4 years.

In 2015 Techenomics Laboratory became the first laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 to perform oil testing and calibration in Mongolia. ISO/IEC 17025 is the main international standard for general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

Accreditation is the highest level of competence a laboratory can demonstrate and Techenomics as an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory continually monitors our processes to guarantee we meet and exceed stated quality and performance standards.

Having accredited by ISO ISO/IEC 17025, it helped our lab to follow all the guidelines laid out under the ISO ISO/IEC 17025 regulation.

ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation

The regulation’s 2 main requirements: Management and Technical are being implemented in our  laboratory's operation and effectiveness of the quality management system.

These include specifications for control of records, document control, internal audits for every step performed in the laboratory, organizational structure, risk management, review of the test orders received from clients, and purchase of services and supplies such as reagents, consumables, etc.

Technical requirements address the competence of staff, sampling, and testing methods used, types of equipment, quality, and reporting of test and calibration results.

ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard for continuous improvement so having our accreditation extended successfully by regulatory bodies certifies that our results are consistent and accurate and are generated using industry-standard protocols.
