Visit Techenomics at QME for the good oil on fluid management

It will save costs and increase productivity of engines and equipment
Techenomics, an independent provider of innovative condition monitoring and fluid analysis services to the mining, transport, rail and marine industries, will have a team of experts on hand at QME in Mackay, Queensland, this month.

The team will have a booth at the show from July 24-26 to explain and demonstrate how Techenomics eliminates the unexpected and predicts the unpredictable. The booth is C204.

Team members will interact with visitors to outline how Techenomics’ preventative solutions, including condition analytics and condition monitoring, are just as applicable to the oil and lubricants in the family car as they are to mining equipment, rail rolling stock, a truck fleet or large ocean-going vessels.

Then there are the products which add value to these solutions, including the Blue Oceans maintenance software platform, data sensors that allow for early detection of issues and the unique tungsten disulphide (WS2) caged nano particles.

When added to oil, the WS2 particles reduce friction and, therefore, increase oil life, cut maintenance costs, enhance engine productivity, provide fuel use savings and reduce emissions.

Team members will interact by discussing the company’s oil sampling and analysis procedures; results of laboratory testing; recounting personal experiences of themselves, their friends and clients; and demonstrating this with live testing at the booth.

Techenomics will introduce its new business development manager Michael Noncic to QME visitors. Michael has more than 20 years’ experience and qualifications in various industries, including mining, power generation and heavy industry.

He has strong knowledge of various lubricants, including synthetic, hydro-cracked and mineral based products, as well as lubricant additives, which make him ideal to be spreading the message about Techenomics at QME and around Australia.

As Techenomics is moving into next generation tools to complement traditional fluid analysis, QME will provide an opportunity for team members to explain how this process benefits customers by giving them even more from their oils and other lubricants, reducing costs and improving productivity.

As well as WS2 caged nano particles, the next generation tools include increased digital data capabilities, development of remote sensors to enable real time data provision and upgraded Blue Oceans software capabilities.

Techenomics CEO Chris Adsett says using the company’s services and value-added products in equipment and vehicles is like giving the engine a massage.

“To demonstrate this to car owners, we are offering the first 50 people who visit our booth and fill out a short questionnaire a car lover’s kit, which includes a 50ml bottle of WS2 additive and an oil analysis bottle.

“These come with instructions on how to take a sample and how to add the WS2 to your oil as well as a return post bag to send the oil sample to our laboratory so that we can analyse it and let you know how your oil is performing as well as any issues you should be aware of.”

He adds: “We invite all and sundry to visit the booth at C204, meet Michael and the team, discuss our services and ask us about any lubrication issues they may have.

“We won’t bamboozle you with unnecessary spin, we’ll show you how to get your vehicle or equipment running better than your competitors,” he adds.
