Techenomics provides complete lubricant health checks

Problem identified, method determined, solution found – productivity up, costs down
The lubrication provided by oils and greases is a vital component in effective operation of engines and hydraulic equipment and the lubricant health checks conducted by fluid management and condition monitoring specialists Techenomics ensures optimum performance. This in turn reduces costs while increasing productivity.

As fluid management ‘health practitioners’, Techenomics carries out oil and lubricant analysis to ensure fluids are in good health and that costly maintenance and downtime are minimised.

The properties of lubricating oil need to be maintained within specified parameters, in order for engines and hydraulic equipment to operate smoothly and efficiently.

The analysis conducted by experienced technicians utilising state-of-the-art laboratory equipment is an important component of the total fluid management services provided by the independent global operation that is Techenomics.

These services are supplemented by additional solutions aimed at empowering customers to get more from their oil and lubricants, such as NanoLub Inorganic Fullerene-like Tungsten Disulphide (IFWS2) caged nano particles.

And then Techenomics is adding even more to its role as a fluid management ‘doctor’ by developing digital data capture and real time monitoring.

Techenomics CEO Chris Adsett says these additional capabilities will provide customers with a total service aimed at getting maximum value from lubricants.

“We are able to identify issues within engines and hydraulic equipment before they become costly problems with our proven oil analysis and condition monitoring services, can enhance performance of lubricants with IFWS2 particles and will be able to provide almost instant advice and assistance with our digital data capabilities,” he says.

“For instance,” Chris Adsett says, “we are looking at hydraulic oil degradation caused by overheating and combining our digital data program to monitor remotely the oil temperature whilst adding IFWS2.

“A problem is identified, an oil analysis method of monitoring is implemented, a solution is provided by adding IFWS2 and an expedited answer will be given by real time monitoring.”

The complete lubricant solutions by Techenomics are utilised in mining situations where vehicles, trucks and equipment keep mines producing. They can also be implemented in transport, marine, power, oil & gas and other industries where lubricants are used to keep engines and machinery operating efficiently and effectively.

Chris Adsett says, “At Techenomics we have been serving the condition monitoring needs of industry for almost 30 years but do not rest on our laurels.

“We intend to stay ahead of the field by developing improved methods of enabling clients to get more value from their lubricants and more productivity from their machines. As part of this process we are utilising complementary products that add to our aims.”
