Want your oil to last longer and perform better?
Forum outlines benefits of nano tungsten disulphide additives
Demonstrating its commitment to innovation and provision of total fluid management services, Techenomics is extolling the benefits of nano tungsten disulphide additives during a series of forums. The additives optimise the performance of oil, thereby complementing the fluid analysis services of Techenomics.
The nano tungsten disulphide roadshow began in Balikpapan, Indonesia, on Tuesday. With the focus always on the customer, Techenomics plans to hold similar forums in locations close to customers in other Indonesian locations as well as in Mongolia, Thailand, Singapore and Australia.
Techenomics’ CEO Chris Adsett says the company is always seeking ways to provide clients with a complete package when it comes to oils and fluids, and as part of this process is committed to developing new technology and introducing complementary technology.
“The nano-sized tungsten disulphide additives have been proven to reduce wear and enhance the performance of oil, thereby reducing maintenance and boosting productivity. They can be used in any application where oil is used to lubricate moving components.
“In order to introduce this technology to existing and potential clients we are holding a series of forums at which we explain to representatives of locally based companies how the additives work and the many benefits of using them.”
Tuesday’s Balikpapan forum covered the use of the additives in engines and gears of mobile mining equipment, in turbines at power stations, in light vehicles and other industrial and transport applications.
It was attended by representatives of a number of companies operating in the East Kalimantan region, including PT Petrosea, PT Golden Veroleum, Altrak 1978, PT IMM, PT Hexindo, PT Indominco, PT CFK, PT SPA (Selvinto) and Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).
