Independence ensures Techenomics’ integrity
Through provision of expert, reliable, accurate, innovative and independent condition monitoring and fluid management services, Techenomics has established a reputation that is second to none.
As a totally independent operation Techenomics carries out its oil and fluids sampling, analysis, monitoring and data trending services always with the customer first and foremost in mind. The company strives to ensure engines and hydraulic components are operating at their prime in order to ensure maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
The innovative, predictive technology used by Techenomics matched with the expertise of staff ensures that issues can be identified before they become costly problems.
The recent scandal involving Volkswagen and its installation of software to disguise the true amount of emissions made from its diesel cars in a bid to match or enhance official test results has created major waves around the world, tarnishing the company’s name and raising suspicion about the practices of other automobile manufacturers as well as major players in other manufacturing fields.
A few companies decide to gently bend the rules and stretch regulations, and others soon follow, with the rules and regulations then stretched further, according to Techenomics International CEO Chris Adsett. “The fact that VW has admitted to doing this could open Pandora’s Box, revealing a plethora of dodgy practices.”
He says the company’s independence ensures this does not happen. “It is not in our best interests to even consider deceiving our clients in any way as we are doing our work for them.
“OEMs can and do use the data gained from onboard computer systems for their own benefit and to protect their reputations. It is not done entirely for the benefit of the client. Their tests are carried out to make them look good at all times and are aimed at hitting the laboratory targets they set.
“The VW situation shows that no corporation, however large or prestigious, can be fully trusted with their testing or claims, which makes using an independent analysis supplier vital. Techenomics works wholly and solely for the benefit of clients which helps them achieve better productivity and gain greater value for money from their engines and equipment.
“Techenomics has nothing to hide because we work independently for clients. We expertly analyse the samples we receive in our fully accredited laboratories and provide clients with all of the data. Over time our experts trend this data to provide a progressive picture of engine and component condition,” Chris Adsett concludes.
Techenomics has a network of laboratories in Indonesia, Mongolia, Australia, Thailand, Turkey and East Africa manned by fully trained, professional staff.
