New Module in Blue Oceans – Dashboard
Techenomics International has created the Dashboard Maintenance program, an additional page on their Blue Oceans Condition Monitoring software that acts as a summary page, allowing clients to see all the relevant results for a particular compartment on one screen.
The Blue Oceans Dashboard Maintenance program enables maintenance personal to trend each piece of equipment and compartment individually on a single screen. It trends all data for each equipment for all elements and provides adequate trends for diagnosing or checking the equipment reliability.
Dashboard will also gather meaningful information from within the data and present it in an easy read format for the user. Setting up limits for equipment compartments will also become easier by using this module.
According to Chris Adsett, CEO of Techenomics International, “The development of Blue Oceans Dashboard Maintenance program came about after a request for this module from one of our biggest mining clients in Mongolia. Their Maintenance crew like to trend the equipment condition on a single screen accommodating all analysis parameters and interpret it as valuable information.
Blue Oceans software was designed to be flexible and to be able to be modified based on client’s requests and this is what we have done creating the Dashboard Maintenance program.”
Techenomics plan on taking Dashboard Maintenance Program further, by upgrading this module so it can compare single equipment compartment trend against big data. This will help identify the failure patterns in different equipment types and enable Techenomics to generate limits for various equipment.

About Blue Oceans
Blue Oceans software program allows maintenance personnel to schedule and record equipment maintenance, including the recording of all oil analysis results, lubricant and fuel usage, and monitor the wear on magnetic plugs and trays.
Results for each sample are reviewed, interpreted and managed by Blue Oceans condition monitoring software specialists and recommendations are given by trained technicians with a background in equipment maintenance and oil analysis.
Blue Oceans also manages the results of sample analysis for clients. With this software package, users can, in one place, easily track their past and present oil monitoring results. Trending tools are also available for ongoing condition monitoring, and oil and fuel analysis. Blue Oceans software also offers a flexible reporting format that can be modified to suit the specific needs of customers.
