TECHENOMICS International, an independent and multinational company providing oil analysis, mining services and controlled maintenance services, is planning a series of seminars in Australia, Mongolia, Indonesia and Thailand aimed at outlining the importance of analysing hydraulic systems and developing condition monitoring programs.
Techenomics service mobile and fixed plant equipment across Australia, Indonesia, South East Asia, East Africa, Turkey and Northern Asia. Its core business is providing solutions to keep oil clean, test its performance and provide condition monitoring outcomes through predominantly oil analysis and filtration programs.
“Techenomics International constantly strives to deliver the best services and achieve the highest results for our clients. We have hired the best professionals in the field worldwide and undertaken numerous studies to determine what works and what doesn’t. These seminars are our chance to share what we have learnt and what we successfully practice every day, with companies that want to learn and improve and in the end save themselves a lot of money”. Says Chris Adsett, Executive Director of Techenomics.
Each seminar will run for two hours and seminars will be presented by leading Techenomics experts in each country. The two seminars will focus on the best leading indicator for hydraulic system reliability and Condition Monitoring.
The hydraulic systems seminar will look at the importance of analysing hydraulic systems and examine the best indicators for measuring the reliability of hydraulic systems.
“Hydraulic control valves have fine tolerances between the spool and casing and some of the orifices are very small. Particle counting is the best leading indicator for measuring the reliability of hydraulic systems. Its analysis experts can tell you how many particles you have in your oil that have the potential to jam your valves and wear your seals, resulting in lost production.” Explains Chris Purkiss, Techenomics Mechanical Engineer.
“This seminar will really examine why particle counting is the best leading indicator for measuring the reliability of hydraulic systems and what the reasonable targets for hydraulic systems are.” Continues Mr Purkiss.
Techenomics other seminar will look at condition monitoring and how companies can achieve Condition Monitoring Excellence and save hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process.
“Condition Monitoring programs are like a journey, irrespective of the industry and the mobile or fixed plant used. Where you are on this journey dictates what you should be measuring. As your program matures you will change the focus of your KPIs. Techenomics has developed a process map for your condition monitoring program with KPIs for each step of the way. This seminar will help you identify where you are upon your journey and what parts of the process you should be measuring so companies can keep improving.” Says Mr Purkiss.

ABOUT TECHENOMICS
Techenomics has distributed specialty lubricants to the mining industry throughout Australia and Indonesia for more than 20 years with the business steadily growing into other parts of the world. In 1988, Techenomics introduced proactive condition monitoring and fluid management services.
Today, Techenomics focuses on its Total Fluid Management Services (TFMS), operating ISO 9001 accredited laboratories and consulting services. These laboratories all conduct lubricant analysis on used oils and greases, and analysis of wear debris. TFMS is operated by site-based teams who establish and maintain condition monitoring programs, and manage the total lubricant cycle at the clients’ facilities.
Techenomics’ consulting services focus on tribology; lubrication practices, product application, component wear, lubrication management and training programs. Its engineers design and builds unique solutions to improve component life. Its training programs are not generic programs, they are custom developed for clients and aim to eliminate customers’ specific problems and are always results-orientated. These consulting services are often used in continuous improvement programs.
Techenomics’ lubrication and fuel services reduce maintenance costs for mobile and fixed plant equipment, irrespective of the industry.
