Fuel Testing
Techenomics General Manager of Indonesian Operations, Freddy Tamara today announced that PT Techenomics Indonesia have been doing the work of testing the diesel fuel for the KPC minesite in Sangatta, since winning the contract for this job mid last year.
The contract which runs for another two years, see’s PT Techenomics Indonesia performing various services including counting diesel fuel quantity and testing the quality of diesel fuel.
“Our role is to survey all the diesel fuel that comes into KPC area ports, to audit the right quantity according to the manifest. The sample then has to be subjected to testing to see whether the diesel fuel quality meets with the required standard.
The result of the audit quantity and testing quality determines whether the diesel fuel delivered will be accepted by KPC. “Explains Mr Tamara.
Under the contract, PT Techenomics Indonesia tests the quality and quantity of fuel at Port Bengalon for unloading barge activity, Port Tanjung Bara for unloading vessel activity, and they also do monthly stock inventory control for diesel fuel at all diesel fuel storage tanks in the KPC Sangatta area.
Total Diesel Fuel distribute under PT Techenomics Indonesia fuel survey supervision is approximately 50,000 kL per month.
