Sample Extraction Pump

Apr 13, 2012 | condition monitoring, preventative maintenance

Dear Valued Customers and Friends,

Techenomics supply Sample extraction pumps – for analysis and testing, temperature, vibration and condition monitoring by Techenomics International (also known as Vampire Pumps) for onsite oil sampling. The extraction pump allows maintenance staff to extract the oil into the sample bottle via clear hosing, and the hosing is then discarded in an environmentally clean manner.

Once the oil or other lubricant is extracted into the sample bottle, the extraction pump will need to be cleaned using a clean cloth and placed into a clean and sealable bag to ensure that contaminants do not get into the thread or in the pump itself.

The sample pump comes in aluminum and plastic for standard use, and for those who work underground a brass extraction pump can be supplied, these pumps have a measurable head size of 38mm; this is commonly used and should be acceptable for most oil analysis bottles. Techenomics can also provide the sample kits required to collect the oils and lubricants.
