Tractor Engine Saved

Apr 13, 2010 | Contamination Control, oil analysis

I’m so happy, we saved a farmers tractor engine. Greg McNaught a local farmer rang Lisa in desperation with a sample of engine oil from a cat tractor. The oil pressure kept dropping and he was worried and concerned about blowing up an engine.

At Techenomics we are very focused on providing accurate and timely oil analysis reports, but really stoked when we can participate in the real action and achieve a “life saving” result.

The oil analysis of the engine oil showed that the oil was badly contaminated by dirt ingress, possibly from broken seals or contaminated oil. Whilst exciting it is so easy for us to help customers like Greg to find problems that can lead to major failure.

Whoopee.
